Description
Once again, I was bored, and once again, these characters came to be. They're a small group of four warriors defending the fairy kingdom of Aetheria from the evil Queen Mab. Their powers correspond to those of the four classic elements--earth, fire, air, and water. They themselves have no power. Their powers come from their crystals. Take those away from them and they become ordinary warriors. The crystals obey only their masters. The warrior holding the earth-crystal (yellow, a nod to gold, which is found in the earth) is a pardoned thief. He is about to be hanged when a messenger from the king of Aetheria announces that his majesty grants the thief pardon. He is a prankster and the comic relief of the group.
The warrior who holds the fire-crystal is a knight of Aetheria. He is arrogant, hot tempered, and entirely too bold and often puts the team in danger with his rash decision-making. He rarely smiles and is always serious, seeming to always have a black cloud hovering above his head. The master of the air-crystal is the princess of Aetheria, only daughter of the king. She is as arrogant and hot tempered as the knight and they often clash (should I eventually make them fall in love?). The wielder of the water-crystal is a former pirate who has turned his back on his old life and has pledged eternal service to the kingdom of Aetheria.
